We operate an e-shop on the website shop.olympic.sk.
In the course of providing our services, selling goods, and operating our website, we process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed primarily by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

- Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you contact us regarding our products and services, we will work with your contact information provided to us, mainly through the contact form. These are personal data in the scope of: name and surname, email address.
Why?
Based on the personal data sent, we will subsequently contact you in relation to our offer of goods and services.
On what legal basis?
This is processing under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the delivery of our goods or services.
How long will we process personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for a maximum of 2 years from our last communication.
- Processing of personal data when purchasing
If you purchase from us, we will work with the personal data you provide to ensure the conclusion of the contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are primarily billing details: name, surname, address, telephone contact.
Why?
We need to process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – delivery of goods or provision of services. Using contact details, we will also communicate with you about the status of your order, possibly about complaints or your questions.
We will also process personal data to meet our obligations under generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, possibly for handling complaints and others).
On what legal basis do we process personal data?
This is processing under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or services.
How long will we process personal data?
During the delivery of goods or the provision of services and then for 10 years from the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.
- Newsletter (commercial communication)
If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused the sending of marketing communications, we will use your email address to send our marketing communications.
On what legal basis?
This is processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communication targeted at our customers.
How long will we process personal data?
3 years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at sklad@demisport.sk.
II. Who will have access to the data?
Your personal data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other persons working for us have access to your personal data because they help us operate our e-shop. These include:
- the operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Czech Republic, ID: 289 35 675, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25395)
- companies involved in the dispatch of goods (Slovenská pošta, Packeta, Toptrans)
- companies involved in the dispatch of payments (Slovenská sporiteľňa, ShoptetPay)
- email service provider

V. Your rights regarding personal data processing
The GDPR regulation gives you, among other things, the right to contact us to request information about what personal data we process about you, request access to such data and have it updated or corrected, or request a restriction on processing. You can request a copy of the processed personal data, request the deletion of personal data in certain situations, and in some cases have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
If you believe we are handling data improperly, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in our jurisdiction is the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), Inspectorate of SOI for the Trnava Region, Pekárska 23, 917 01 Trnava 1, email tt@soi.sk, or to take legal action.
